چکیده

The Hera Au-Ag-Pb-Zn deposit of central New South Wales, Australia with a total undepleted resource 3.6 Mt @ 3.3 g/t Au, 25 Ag, 2.6% Pb and 3.8% Zn occurs on the SE margin Cobar Basin. It is hosted by shallow marine Mouramba Group overlying turbiditic Amphitheatre Group. siltstones comprise various mixtures quartz, plagioclase, muscovite-phengite, biotite clinochlore, along accessory titanite ilmenite. comprises number discrete lodes which are steeply west-dipping strike NNW. Each lode has different abundances main ore minerals sphalerite, galena, chalcopyrite, pyrrhotite electrum-gold. North Pod Far West lenses have most diverse mineralogy in additionally containing arsenopyrite, native silver, gudmundite, Ag-tetrahedrite, acanthite, dyscrasite, antimony, nisbite breithauptite. Electrum (continuous spectrum from Ag-rich to Au-rich) associated sulfides while gold host rocks cleavages/lineations away ore. sulfur isotope data across indicates magmatic source. Most experienced greenschist facies metamorphism pervasive green chlorite alteration, though differs being distinctly Ag- Sb-rich reached at least amphibolite garnet-wollastonite-vesuvianite-tremolite assemblage. Tremolite relatively abundant throughout suggesting widespread low-T skarn alteration. Cross-cutting pegmatites plagioclase (labradorite-andesine) microcline. Hydrothermal remobilization extensive best explains unusual Ag-Sb-As assemblages lodes.

Modelling the giant, Zn-Pb-Ag Century deposit, Queensland, Australia

This paper presents a combination of geometric reconstructions of the Century Zn–Pb–Ag deposit, and finite-difference modelling of coupled deformation and fluid flow. Our intention is to demonstrate that these computer-based applications represent a new approach in testing ore genesis models. We use a ‘‘visiometric’’ approach, utilising GoCad 3D structural and property modelling. Computer visua...

Determination of relationship between silver and lead mineralization based on fractal modeling in Mehdiabad Zn-Pb-Ag deposit, Central Iran

Main aim of this study is to determine relationship between lead and silver mineralized zones using the Concentration-Volume (C-V) fractal modeling and logratio matrix based on subsurface data in Mehdiabad Zn-Pb-Ag deposit, central Iran. First, Pb and Ag raw data were analyzed by statistical processes and their histogram have similar shape. Next, Geostatistical modeling was carried out for the ...

Mineralogy and geochemistry of Nodoushan Zn-Pb deposit: A transitional deposit in UDMA, Central Iran

Eocene magmatism with intermediate-acid tuffs and volcanic rocks, the host to the Nodoushan deposit in Yazd province, intruded by Oligocene early diorite and later granite plutonic rocks. The former involved in iron skarn (containing epidote and euhedral grossularite) to the north and northern part of the deposit, the latter contributed to fault-controlled Zn-Pb deposit. The structural features...
